Job Responsibilities Strategic Planning
  • Define and execute a compelling strategy for growth, identification of new suppliers, industry segments and customers including future acquisitions
  • Development and execution of tactical plans to deliver business performance within the framework of the Local Business Line strategy
  • Proactively develop robust business case for future business opportunities (suppliers, customers, M&A) that are commercially viable. Iidentify, evaluate and recommend investment opportunities to the Local BU Manager (LBUM) to aim at expanding market share in a profitable and sustainable manner
  • Maintain at all times a true entrepreneurial value within the business with total commitment to build growth and value in the Employer’s products, people and customers

Business Management
  • Full P&L responsibility with significant growth potential
  • Implement effective and efficient business procedures and approval processes, avoiding bureaucracy
  • Collaboration with shared services functions (Human Resources, Finance, Distribution & Logistics and IT )in the fulfilment of all business activities including but not limited to recruitment, staff development, inventory management, customer service and receivables

Supplier Management
  • Establish a strong link between specialized International suppliers in the sector of analytical and scientific instruments and a large varied customer base in Indonesia
  • Provide the focal point for global supplier and local customer relationships
  • Develop market strategies with suppliers and seek their financial assistance to build market penetration
  • Manage forecasting process with suppliers and all product price and logistic related matters
  • Manage all commercial arrangements and documentation in line with contracts

Customer Management
  • Develop market strategies with end customers to build market penetration
  • Build strong senior customer contact relationships
  • Conduct joint sales visits with sales staff
  • Manage all commercial terms and conditions in line with company governance
People Management
  • Build an organizational capability plan to deliver the growth and profit targets
  • Build a high performance technical sales, after sales team and sales support organization that are results focused and able to implement the business strategies, tactics and action plans in-order to build strong supplier and customer relationships
  • Selection and appointment of all sales and marketing staff
  • Establishing KPIs with regular assessment of all performance levels

  • Adhere to legal, financial, fiscal and corporate policies and instructions of the Group, the Employer, and the local laws

Personal Development & Conduct
  • Identify training and development needs through Annual Appraisal System for yourself and participate in corporate training
  • Ensure adherence to local and global DKSH policies and procedures
  • Participate fully in the Employee Talent Portal and Induction processes

Work Experience
  • Proven successful track record in sales management with a technical equipment/ instrument measurement product and offering value added services
  • Demonstrated success in growing businesses by developing the business and market strategies by driving innovative approaches, brand-building and key account management.
  • Depth of experience in increasing ROI through successfully building the value of a company through organic growth and/or acquisition
  • Experience in leadership and general management roles preferably from a Distributor/Agent background
  • Experience in the instrument measurement product bussines is desirable selling capital equipment
  • Must have managed P&L responsibilities
  • Experience with working with a high volume of suppliers 20+
