Job description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of combined experience in Telco, Ecommerce, Financial Services, Travel, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Tech, media, marketing, brand management, and/or advertising sales.
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Bahasa Indonesian fluently.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in sales/operations management and strategic planning.
  • Experience working with customers and in strategic management consulting.
  • Knowledge of industry and market dynamics in Indonesia.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use creative approaches to prove solutions through data.
  • Excellent organizational, influencing and presentation skills.

As the Industry Manager, you will build effective relationships with advertisers in Indonesia and provide them with integrated, cross-platform advertising solutions to transform their success, identify their business challenges, and collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives. You will demonstrate how Google products can improve their online presence and business results.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Define the business strategy aligned to the customer's strategies by analyzing data, trends, customer’s performance and business models, and identifying opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain executive level relationships and serve as a point of contact to our customers with the goal of extending relationships, increasing the customer’s growth, and optimizing the advertising resources.
  • Develop strategic, forward thinking, data-driven analysis, and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Establish and foster sustainable relationships with advertisers, agencies and ecosystem partners to serve as a trusted consultant.
  • Act as thought leader at industry sector conferences/seminars and educate the market on Google’s advertising solutions.
