Job description

Our client, a luxury Dive Resort in Manado is seeking outstanding Candidates for JUNIOR SOUS CHEF (PASTRY/BAKERY) (Live -in).

The Food & Beverage Department at its Resort offers an upscale, modern, spacious and charming restaurant which is located centrally within the resort with beautiful views of the Lembeh Strait, creating an informal luxury atmosphere.

Catering to all tastes including Indonesian, Mediterranean, Thai and American flavors with a modern twist. All of the menus are based around locally sourced, fresh ingredients and complete with plant-based and gluten free options throughout.

We invite highly experienced candidates only to apply for this position. The successful candidates will be highly organized and professional with an excellent overall knowledge of Food & Beverage operations also fully confident to bring the following attributes to the company.


  • Willing to relocate to a remote location in Manado, North Sulawesi
  • Indonesian Citizenship
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Great personality and positive outlook
  • Team player, solid, checkable work history in reputable companies
  • Maximum age 39

Job Details:

  • Lead the pastry kitchen operation
  • Co- responsible for the successful and profitable operation of all kitchen areas
  • Ensure that the operating standards are adhered to in order to achieve company targets
  • Fully responsible for creating all pastry kitchen administration and ensures standard forms and checklists are correct
  • Conduct regular site inspections as scheduled to ensure that company standards are achieved for safety and hygiene
  • Monitor and control operating expenses to ensure that established operating budgets are adhered to
  • Ensure the highest possible standards of pastry and bakery products are served
