Overview of job
MediaCom is an agency of GroupM, the world’s largest media investment company and are a part of WPP. In fact, we are responsible for one in every three ads you see globally. We are currently looking for a Group Head Trading to join us. In this role, you will be responsible for brands in Mediacom.

Reporting of the role

This role reports to: Investment Partner

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Get to know our client and immerse yourself in their business
  • Understood the client business and the category they play in, and key drivers of growth
  • Built a collaborative relationship with your clients, and acting as the expertise for your brands

In six months:

  • Have developed a good understanding of the client’s category
  • Be leading client WIPs, managing key relationship
  • Can led the campaign project from the beginning and manage client expectation

In 12 months:

  • Be well-respected by your client for your knowledge and service
  • Be leading on managing team and deliver the client KPI
  • Have contributed to the Mediacom culture through participation and behaviour that aligns to the Mindshare values
  • Have cemented your role within the team and contributed to the team delivery and success of a variety of client campaigns

What your day job looks like at MediaCom:

  • Understand all media channels (in particular the ever-changing TV/Screens landscape) with the ability to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each channel and the impact these have in delivering on the client objectives
  • Negotiations with media – not just pushing down on price, but collaborating to drive innovation and add tangible value to clients
  • Deliver and execute best in class media plans, on time and with the knowledge to manage your way through any bumps in the road

Minimum qualifications:

  • Has min experience in media min 4 - 5 year and has preference background on Math or Statistic Faculty
  • Open minded attitude to accept and embrace agile changes, learning new things, and seeking solutions and improvement
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken)
  • Independent in ways of working.
  • Ability to lead and be a team player
  • Discipline and have a good time management skill.
  • Ability to present thoughts, plans and ideas in a clear and succinct manner (on a PowerPoint, Excel, or otherwise)
