What we are looking for

We are looking for Project Manager ICDRC (experience working in the area of Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction) to manage and deliver high quality implementation of ICDRC project in accordance with Oxfam policy and agreed framework with Partner. Including managing partners, resources, and build relationship with related stakeholders to achieve impact at scale. Therefore, he/she will manage the improvement of the effectiveness, speed, and impact of project implementation through strategic partnerships with key stakeholders and development actors.

  • Proven analytical skills and ability to think strategically for project design and to implement the approach
  • Bachelor/ master degree in disaster risk management, natural resources management, agriculture, or related field
  • At least 5 years’ proven experience of project management including managing budgets of different projects. This is to include excellent people management skills, with a good understanding of team development and proven financial management skills
  • Having experience working in the area of Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction
  • Sound knowledge on gender mainstreaming in projects and guide project staff herein. Having Knowledge and experience of promoting gender equity, and an active commitment to promoting the interests of marginalized people in all aspects of Oxfam’s work

  • Proven evidence of leadership skills including challenging, motivating, and developing a team through periods of change
  • Ability to work with others to develop vision into strategy and communicating and influencing this to a wider audience
